Thermoforming is a process that consists of placing a rigid, semi-finished sheet or layer in a structure and heating it until it reaches a rubbery, elastic state, so that it can be placed in the mould cavity and adapt to its shape. The air is extracted by means of a vacuum system at 10 KPa, which forces the film against the walls and contours of the mould. After the cooling time has elapsed, the piece is removed.

The materials we typically use are ABS, PP, PST, PMMA, PET, etc.

Technical specifications of the machines:

  • Dimensions of the workspace: 1500 x 1000 mm
  • Maximum height of the mould: 720 mm
  • Maximum thickness of layer: 10 mm
  • Depth of the mould: 600 mm
  • 2 mould tables, top + bottom
